Tell the important dates of SSC recruitment exams,2012.
Dear aspirant,
We can not know the minimum required marks before the exam that is cut-off..
As per the trend and analysis of the previous two exam the cut off is around 50%-55%...
In year 2011 it was 86.75
In 2010 it was 105
The cut off also depends on the number of vacancies...
In 2012 around 10000 vacancies are there so the expected cut off will be around 90-100..
Best of luck for the exam...
No. There is no sectional cut off, but there is an overall cut off in the exam, which you need to pass so that you can qualify in the Tier I(prelims) exam, & appear for the Tier II(mains) exam.
Last year this overall cut off in the Tier I exam(for general category candidates) was:
> 86.75 - Inteview/Non Interview posts
> 81.50 - Statistical Investigator
For reserved category candidates the cut off is less.
Hi friend,
You have to secure about 50% mark in each section in SSC exam to qualify.
The qualified mark total depends upon the quality of questions and the score secured by the candidates.
If the question will come very tough and then they will decrease the mark to pass.
But remember that you have to secure more than 50% of mark in each section.
To get the job, you have to secure more than cut off mark.
The questions of SSC comes through 4 sections.
1.Math
2.Reasoning
3.English
4.GK
Each section contains 50 questions for 50 marks
Total mark is 200.
You have to prepare all these subjects and secure high marks to get the job.
To get more information, go to the website www.ssc.nic.in

Friend...
There is no minimum marks fixed to qualify SSC combined Graduate Level Exam Tier I exam. A cut off is fixed after seeing the number of vacancies, difficulty of the exam, relative performance of the appeared candidates etc..
So this will vary from year to year..
Also you will have to score a minimum mark in the all sections of Tier I exam to qualify for the Tier II. SO just prepare yourself well so that you are scoring very well at strong areas without going much low in weak areas.
While studying give emphasis to weak areas which can make you confident, and can improve your total score a lot. Here each mark can give you a better job or post..
I am attaching below the result write up SSC CGLE 2011 for your reference. This document contains all details u need to know about last year exam marks...

My dear friend , there is no passing mark in this exam. You just give the exam and later SSC will decide the cut-off marks. If you will clear the cut-off then you are selected. So, try to score as much as possible. It will increase your chances of selection. But don't do guessing because there is a negative mark of 0.25 on each incorrect attempt.

Hello,
There is no fixed minimum mark (cut-off mark) for SSC examinations.
Cut-off marks will vary from year to year.
It will be different for various categories.
Cut-off marks are influenced by certain factors such as the number of candidates appeared for the examination, degree of toughness of the examination, number of vacancies available .etc..,
So don't think too much about cut-off marks.
Try to score as much as you can.
Intense preparation is needed to crack SSC examinations.

DEAR ASPIRANT,
There is no minimum marks fixed by the SSC for CGL Exam Tier I. A cut off is fixed after many aspects i.e. the number of vacancies, no. of the appeared candidates, etc.
The only solution to get through is secure good score and work hard.
This is the time to concentrate on your preparations.
All the best.
Hi Aspirant,
Friend SSC doesn’t make bench mark to qualify SSC CGL preliminary exam.
The candidates are selected on the basis of merit list.
The cut off of SSC exam vary every year. So it is not predecided.
The cut off of exam depends upon the paper toughness, number of candidates apply from all over India and number of vacancies.
Therefore it is difficult to say about the qualifying marks of preliminary exam.
You should preparat well to crack SSC exam and try to achieve highest marks to certain your name in qualifying list.

Dear we can not predict the pass marks before the exams as all the exams run on cut off based system.. each year cut off varies, some time it goes down and some time it goes up. Just go through previous year cut off's so that you can get a general idea about the scorings.
I suggest you to focus more on studies and do not worry as hard working aspirants always crack the nut..
Cheers
