Yes, it is compulsory to clear each section as any other competitive exams.
Yes dear
you have to qualify every section in written exam.if there are four section then you have to qualify every section.
yes it is necessary to qualify in every section of ssc fci exam.
Yes its very necessary for everyone to qualify in each section of SSC examination plus to qualify all the subjects as a whole in aggregate . in both the cases your marks should be greater than or equal to the minimum cut-off marks set up for that post .
This aggregate and sectional cut-off are different for different years ,besides they aren’t even declared at the start of exam ,they become known only at the after the result is out .the cut-off’s are variable and depend on the following factors :
1)LEVEL OF TOUGHNESS:If the exam is easy enough ,which it generally is ;then you can expect the cut-off to be about 60% ,but if the level of the paper comes to be very high ,I mean if its really difficult ,you may expect to get a job with 50 or even 40 % …..
2)NUMBER OF POSTS: This is a very important factor in defining the cut-off score for the SSC exam .If the posts are large in number ,cut-off will be low and vice-versa.
3)NUMBER OF STUDENTS APPLIED:Finally the cut off depends on number of students qualified or appeared in the exam …if the number of applied candidates is large ,obviously the cut off has to be large enough to knock out different candidates in different elimination rounds …
