SSC conducted for 12th base or graduate people .
if you have completed your 12th passed with 55% you can apply for LDC OR UDC post .
and your age should be 18-27 yrs,for other category there is an age relaxation 3-5 yrs.
for 12TH level post:- 5200-27000. staring salary.

And for these posts the candidate just need to be pass in 12th hsc exam from a recognized board
And age is required is 18-27 and relaxation for the obc 3 and for sc/st 5 years
And dear the salary for the posts :
For the lower division clerk is around 15,000
For the data entry operator is around 17,000

Posts of LDC, DEO which are filled through SSC CHSL exam belongs to the pay band 5200-20500(Grade Pay 1900/2400)...
ie, starting salary will be Basic pay+allowances+ Grade Pay.. This at the beginning of career will be summed about Rs.15520-16020(Gross).. The two grade pays are for different posts and you will have to give preference for these posts while applying...
as far as net salary is concerned you will get around Rs.13122-13622(Net) which varies according to various factors like location of works( cities bear more salary, to match your cost of living), special incentives at some departments etc..
SSC notification for this years' CHSL will be on 14.07.2012 and last date of application will be 10.08.2012
Exam dates are 21.10.2012(Sunday) & 28.10.2012(Sunday)

There are different types of jobs available for different qualification in SSC.
The 12th level SSC exams are like LDC and DEO.
LDC stands for Lower Division Clerk.
DEO stands for Data Entry Operator.
The candidate who have completed their 12th from a recognized university are eligible for this.
The age limit is different for different category.
Generally the age limit is 18-27 years.
There is age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for PH candidate.
The candidate who will get the job, the salary of those candidate are given bellow.
For LDC- about 15,000
For DEO- about 17,000

SSC organizes the CHSL (combined Graduation Level) exam for the recruitments of post LDC and DEO every year.
This exam is conducted at intermediate level.
Eligibility for CHSL exam
You should be Intermediate qualified from a valid board.

Citizenship should be Indian, Nepal or Bhutan.
Exam procedure
It consists of written test and skill test.
