Dear Friend,
Coaching for bank po exam will help you in english section of ssc but maths in bank po exam and ssc exam is different.
in bank po exam maths paper tests your speed and basic knowledge of maths.
but in ssc cgl and ssc ldc/deo exam you need to have good grasp on maths.
in bank po exams questions from topics like trignometry, geometry, solids and polygons are'nt asked but in ssc exams in maths section these questions have a very good weightage.
reasoning/ general intelligence of ssc is easier than that of bank po exams. so one who has prepared bank po reasoning will find ssc general intelligence part easy.
in bank po exam in general awareness section only current affairs/banking sector related questions are asked but in SSC exams like SSC CGl, SSC LDC&DEO questions of current affairs as well as traditional gk are asked and questions of traditional gk have bigger weightage than current affirs questions in ssc exams.
So though bank po coaching will help you to write SSC exams but that will help only a bit, not completely.
So to prepare for SSC exams you should you should prepare topics like trignometry, geometry, solids and polygons , you should prepare traditional gk.
Besides bank po books you should have these books to prepare for SSC exams - "GENERAL OBJECTIVE ENGLSIH" BY R.S. AGRAWAL, WAREN AND MARTIN'S " HIGH SCHOOL ENGLISH GRAMMAR" , PREVIOUS YEARS SOLVED PAPERS BOOK OF SSC CGL EXAM, R.S. AGARAWALA'S " OBJECTIVE MATHEMATICS".

no this will not going to help you a lot. because in ssc questions in general awareness are asked from history, geography, Indian polity, science, social studies, i.e. from all parts, but in bank po they only ask questions related to current affairs especially from banking & financial awareness. yes it will help you in English and reasoning and quantitative aptitude but not very much.
Yes Bank PO Coaching will help you for SSC Exam also. But in addition to it,you need to prepare for General Knowledge and Current Affairs for writing SSC Exam.
And you have to practice precise writing, essay writing and letter writing in English.
Dear candidate
it is good to grasp knowledge from every where and it will help you in the entrance exams.
in ssc and in po exam both have a general knowledge question and candidate who have also the coaching of can avail benefits form that coaching.
apart from this the candidate must have to follow the syllabus of the ssc which is prescribed in the every notification for post.
yes it will be very much useful in ssc exams as well. the most important important aspect u can see s that the speed with which u can solve the questions is important as we have only 2 hours and po training will be useful here very much..also the reasoning and numerical aptitude studies in po training will be very much useful..for gk alone read some monthly magazines to improve your knowledge and newspapers will be useful..
Since, you have been taking bank Po coaching then your bank coaching is enough to help you in writing SSC exam.
You can write combined graduate level exam on the basis of bank coaching. The reason is syllabus are almost same for both CGL & Po.
You will find difference of sections. In bank Po you will find 5 sections namely Reasoning,Aptitude,English,General awareness & Computer awareness.& in SSC exam you will find all the sections except for Computer awareness.number of questions will be more in bank Po exam as compared to SSC.So,relax keep continue with your coaching.
is that possible that if the master is good then student is also good.
no.
then you justify yourself whats you need.
are you required some coaching for helping in your preparation, or you do it yourself by help various kinds of books& previous years papers & net.
at last you do it what you choice.
See below the Bank PO exam's pattern:
- Now see below the SSC exams topics:
1. General Knowledge and awareness.
2. Quantitative aptitude.
3. English comprehension.
4. General Intelligence and Reasoning.
- There is similirity of sections of both exams.
- But the question types asked in both exams will match mostly in english topic but rest will have 10-20 percentage similirity.
- Both exams question types are not same.
- The SSC Maths is tough but reasoning is easy.
- But in PO exam Reasoning level is tough and Maths is normal.
- The general knowledge questions are more traditional in SSC bu in Bank the most questions will be form Banking and Current Affairs side.
Hi friend,
Yes, you can apply for SSC because now you are a trend candidate.
The candidates take coaching to crack the competitive exam.
As you take coaching for Banking, you must know about the short cut method to solve the questions quickly.
I know that the question pattern of SSC is tough.
But if try your best, you can crack the SSC exam.
The GK questions of banking is related to current affairs.
But the questions of SSC is related to traditional GK like History, Geography, Political Science, Biology etc.
So, you have to prepare these subjects with current GK.
All the best
Regards

Hello Dear,
Yes of course coaching for Bank PO exams will be beneficial for the SSC exams also.
SSC paper is quite similar to that of the PO paper.
SSC exam includes:
-General Reasoning and Intelligence
-General Awareness
-Numerical Aptitude
-English Comprehension
On the other hand Bank PO exams includes sections of-
-Reasoning
-English Language
-Quantitative Aptitude
-General Awareness
-Computer knowledge
As you can see that both the papers are quite similar.
So preparation for PO exams will definitely beneficial for the SSC exams.
The level of difficulty in SSC exam for maths section is more than that of the PO exams.
Regards
of course yes my dear friend... because the bank po exam pattern is more closely related to ssc exam pattern .
But remember one thing that ssc questions in general awareness are asked from history, geography, Indian polity, science, social studies, i.e. from all parts, but in bank po they only ask questions related to current affairs especially from banking & financial awareness. You can come to the conclussion by looking the pattern of both the exams itself:
PATTERN OF BANK EXAMS:
SSC EXAM PATTERN:
- General Reasoning and Intelligence
- General Awareness
- Numerical Aptitude
- English Comprehension
IF you can purchase books like"GENERAL OBJECTIVE ENGLSIH" BY R.S. AGRAWAL, WAREN AND MARTIN'S " HIGH SCHOOL ENGLISH GRAMMAR" , PREVIOUS YEARS SOLVED PAPERS BOOK OF SSC CGL EXAM, R.S. AGARAWALA'S " OBJECTIVE MATHEMATICS" it will be more usefull for you....
all the very best and my regards to you...
Hi aspirant,
You have taken the coaching of Bank PO exam.
Friend you should not worry. Now you can give the exam of SSC with the preparation of Bank PO exam.
The syllabus of bank PO exam and the syllabus of SSC exam are almost same.
It is only little difference of topics between both exams.
Syllabus of SSC exam
General awareness
General Intelligence and reasoning
Quantitative aptitude
Comprehension English
Bank PO exam has another subject of Computer.
Friend I will give you some advice to convert the knowledge of bank PO exam according to the syllabus of SSC.
SSC exam standard is little tough.
Therefore you should commence the regular practice of model question paper of SSC exam, so that you could know the question level and type of SSC exam.
Clear the topic which are not found in the syllabus of Bank PO.
Learn the tricky solution of math problem.
Best of Luck…
dear
coaching will definately help to boost ur confidence but examination pattern is different in SSC or banking
so should prep separately for both the examination , do not forget that both are totally a differnt field of
job and selection as well so u shoul be well aware of the syllabus of examination then only u can prep accordingly.
Regards
Vipin

yes syllabus of bank po and ssc is nearly same but in case of ssc you should study geometry portion also which rarely asked in banking sector.
