As per the latest tweet of SSC chief,there are around 12000 vacancies for SSC CGL 2012.


This year around 12 lakh candidates have appeared for SSC CGL exam


So even though the vacancies are very large in number but the competition is also very tough this time due increase in the number of candidates.

SSC never declares vacancies before the result of the CGL exam. So you have to wait for some time to know the number of vacancies available in the ssc for for different posts.
If you go by the previous Cgle exams vacancies you will notice that the vacancies are around 8000 to 8500 every year.
so you can expect it to be like if everything is like previous years .
It can also increase this year no body can guess so wait till the exams.
