Dear Aspirant,
Staff Selection Commission conducts examination for different posts in various Departments. You have to choose post preference as per your qualification, age limit and interest in the post.
dear friend,
in my opinion you should have to choose the post in ssc in which you have better grip to clear the examination.
best of luck.
Friend....
SSC has given alphabets for representing each post listed in Combined graduate level exam.. so you will have to prioritize posts according to your wish and write down them in order in a paper or something..
Then while applying online there will be 26 boxes where you can enter the options according to what you have written in the paper..
You can give preference according to pay band, your aptitude toward different posts, considering physical requirements, location you may be alloted after selection etc...
The same manner can be used for giving State preference (location of work)..
Friend.. i was trying to show you that portion of ssc notification having the above details and how it is listed, but due to techincal problems at my side im unable to attach that part alone. so pls click on following link to find out the SSc CGLE notification, from which you can easily find out what i have explained above..

See the offline application form for the same in which you can find 26 boxes for giving preference for Posts as well as states separately..

Hi friend,
To fill the post preference, you have to go the 2nd part of the application form.
You can the post code are written as A,B,C,D like this.
you have to fill the post by giving the post code in ascending order by giving the alphabets from A to Z.
First give the post code which you want to give.
After that 2nd preference, 3rd preference and so on.
You can get more information from the website www.ssc.nic.in

Hello Dear,
SSC CGL exams along with the notification, they also give you the list of the posts and there codes.
So before filling the form make a list of all the posts in which you want to apply.
Make the list on the basis of the job responsibilities, your interest, pay band, interview test or physical tests.etc.
Then fill the job codes in the application form in the proper sequence.
List should be made carefully.
