Hello dear friend... Here want to inform you that there is not any fixed cut off in ssc cgl. The cut off it self depends upon the type and nature of the paper . If the paper is easy and simple then the cut off will go high and if it is hard then the cut off will be low,, so bye the idea of last few years 120 marks are enough to qualifie for ssc cgl tier 1 exam...

The cut off mark of CGL 2012 tier 1 is not fixed.

Because it depends upon the result of the candidates.

If the score of the candidate will be high then the cut off mark must be high.

But I am giving you the list of 2011 CGL exam cut off mark for different categories.

For UR- 86.75
SC-63.50
ST-63.25
OBC-70.50

Don't be worry about it.

Try to give good performance in the written test examination.

the cut off depends on various factors these are..

->number of vacancies

->number of applications

->toughness of paper

so the cut off remains around 100

There is no fixed cut off marks in the SSC CGL Examination. Cut off marks depends on the exams structure and student's preparation.
But from the last year we can expect cut off marks of TIER-I for this year is as follow:
General Category: 85 to 90 marks
OBC Category: 80 to 85 marks
SC Category: 65 to 70 marks
ST Category:60 to 65 marks
Ex Service Man Category:50 to 60 marks
( It is just expectation, not actual. It may be varies as per performance of the students. )

this sectional cut off is there in ssc . so cut off will be low as compared to previous years........

Inspecting the tough pattern of today's paper it can be said that the cut off would be lower than previous year cut off . So it would be between 75-80 numbers for general.

Most of all asking which type of questions in gk

hi.......I am getting 94 marks in Tier-1,is there possibility to get through?

There is no sectional cut off in ssc from 2011.this year question paper was difficult one specially maths.22 question were frm new sylbus which was unexpected .cut off will go around 81-83 in genral category .

previous year cpo cut of was around 70 this year it is 54. so cgl previous year was 86.75 this year it may be around 75.

Hello Dear,The cut off marks for the SSC CGL exams has not been disclosed as the exams are still to be happened on 8th July 2012.The cut off marks varies from year to year.The cut off marks are separate for the different categories.The cut off marks depends upon the level of the toughness of the paper.So you have to wait for a while to get the cut off list for this year.Regards

The expected cutoff for this year is likely to be for general 8570 for obc62 for scBut this is also depend on 8 july paper
