Sorry, the Exam for SSC CPO 2012 is already held in the month of May.

SSC CPO :

Staff Selection Commission(SSC) Central Police Organization(CPO).

SSC CPO is conducted by SSC on National level to fill required number of students into the post of Sub Inspectors in various Central Government Police Organisations like CRPF, ITBP, CBI, SSB, CISF, BSF etc.

Number of Vacancies of SI in Central Armed Polie Forces (CAPF):

1. Central Reserve Police Force- 559 (282 UR, 151 OBC, 84 SC, 42 ST)

2. Border Security Force (Male)- 280 (143 UR, 75 OBC, 41 SC, 21 ST)

3. Border Security Force (Female)- 15 (9 UR, 3 OBC, 2 SC, 1 ST)

4. Indo Tibet Border Police- 470 (267 UR, 103 OBC, 62 SC, 38 ST)

5. Central Industrial Security Force (Male)- 480 (245 UR, 129 OBC, 71 SC, 35 ST,)

6. Central Industrial Security Force (Female)- 53 (29 UR, 14 OBC, 7 SC, 3 ST)

Important Dates :

The notification was published on 17th February 2012.

The last date for the submission of application is 16 March 2012.

For candidates in fur-flung areas, the last date for the receipt of application for the SSC CPO CAPF SI/ CISF ASI Recruitment 2012 is 23 March 2012.

The written exams are scheduled to take place on 27th May 2012.

As per this, the the Exam is already held and you are not supposed to apply it now.

As per result write up for SSC CPO exam 2012 published on 22.06.2012, the PET is to be held on 29-07.2012 at various centres decided by commission.


No further notices has been published in this regard. SSC will soon declare details of it and you will receive the admit card for he same in the due course.

b) 1.6 Kms race in 6.5 minutes
c) Long Jump : 3.65 metres in 3 chances
d) High Jump : 1.2 metres in 3 chances
e) Shot put (16 Lbs): 4.5 metres in 3 chances



For female candidates only
a) 100 metres race in 18 seconds
b) 800 metres race in 4 minutes
c) Long Jump: 2.7 metres (9 feet) in 3 chances.
d) High Jump : 0.9 metres (3 feet) in 3 chances.

as it is written on the result of the qualified candidates who appeared in the exam of 27/05/2012
that the result is for the next exam which is going to be held on 29/07/2012
which contains 200 questions of english.

there is no information for PET till now so in my point of view the PET will be held after
the result of the exam which is going to be held on 29/07/2012 for those cadidates which cleared the second phase exam.
else if till now PET information should be there.

the candidates which got selected after the tier 2 exam will then be called for the PET test and further qualified candidates will be called for

the date of physical test of ssc cpo si hasn't been announced yet by the examination department.so, lease be patience you will be come to know the PET date .and more importantly stay tunned with your regional website for the latest update.
the first paper of cpo was held on 27-05-2012
paper i contain;
1.quantitative aptitude (50 question)(50 marks)
2.general awareness and general knowledge (50 question)(50 marks)
3.reasoning (50 question)(50 marks)
4.english and comprehension (50 question)(50 marks)
and then comes the paper 2
1.english and comprehension (200 question )(200 marks)
after clearing the paper 1 and 2 you will be called for the PET:
100 m of race in time 16 sec
1.6 km race in 6.5 min
high jump 1.2 m in 3 chances
long jump 3.65m in 3 chances
shot up 16 lbs that is 4.5 m in three chances.
